Hey guys,

Got another great new feature today! I've been wanting to add this for awhile now, but was waiting for the new site. It's finally done, and you are able to report skins. Now let's get all those stolen/horrible skins off the site



Just click the new "Report" button under the "Skin Tools" section on the left. Make sure you are logged in before you submit a report.

um, i have been reporting skins that are, um, inapproprate, so do they get taken off the site? or whhaaat

Hey. We still have all the skin reports. I've gotta finish the mod panel so that Sheldrake & I can start processing them. Shouldn't be too much longer!

No effence but i think this is kinda a bad idea.
because what if the skin means alot to the person but someone reports it for being a ~little~ edited?
Maybe when some skin gets reported the sites admins should go through them to see if they should be off or not. or so u guys already do that? i dunno

I think that's what happens, but with the mods too. Though I do hope those skins that are clearly stolen from lets say... me with only the feet changed should be removed.

I also hope I get a position as a mod, I'd just like to reiterate that I am on frequently and constantly am browsing the skins and forums to check the quality and/or appropriateness of skins/topics/posts.

I'm working on a new feature where users of SkinCache will actually be able to manage reported skins. It will be called the Skin Tribunal, and you will be able to vote to keep or delete reported skins. This way, any removed skin will be actually removed by the community, and good skins will never be unfairly removed.

This being said, make sure you keep reporting skins so we can have a large database of reported skins for the tribunal
